Choose a frame
larger than your photo.
For a balanced mat border, we usually recommend choosing a frame at least 2 inches larger than your photo in both width and height. If your photo is4×6″, choose a frame size of 6×8″ or larger.
Example
If your photo is 4×6″, we recommend choosing a frame size of 6×8″ or larger.

Custom mat opening is free with your frame order. When placing your order, simply leave your photo size and custom mat request in the order note. We will use your measurements to create a mat opening designed to fit your photograph and selected frame beautifully.
